Understanding peace

Peace is:
A flower offered with tenderness…

A smile that blooms on the lips
A sun that illuminates every shadow
A dove that carries the olive branch
A flame that burns in the depths of the eyes
A melody that disarms the heart
Clear water that gambols through the earth
A poem that rhymes with brotherhood a hand that reaches out to its neighbor.
PEACE is simply LOVE!

War is:
A thorn that is angrily planted
A grimace that sows lies
A veiled moon that hides itself
A vulture that devours its prey
A fire that consumes every soul
A lament that haunts the nights
A muddy water that bogs down life
A promise that is not kept
A hand that is mutilated by weapons
War is simply Death!
