Mediation

This process begins with both parties agreeing to enter mediation, and the mediator creating a sensitive listening space, governed by rules of mutual respect that both parties formulate and accept (rules that do not allow the use of physical, verbal, psychological or moral violence).

Professional mediation offers a framework with its own reference points, comprising rules of operation and communication, and a process with stages.

It begins with the recognition of the parties’ positions, in terms of legitimacy, and ends with the formalization, in writing or otherwise, of an agreement that is as satisfactory as possible for all parties.

The mediator is independent of any authority, impartial and neutral, and guarantees discretion and confidentiality. In addition to professional experience in the field of conflict resolution, this professional must have received training that guarantees the parties that he or she knows how to implement effective means to propose and maintain the quality of the mediation framework.
