Biography:

Confucius' teaching is based on morality and contains many rules for practical living. He was the first to enunciate the law of benevolence and compassion: Don't do to others what you don't want done to you. He lived around the same time as Lao Tzu and Buddha. They are at the origin of China's three current religions.
