Biography:
The author's story is all the more poignant in that his son Uri was killed during the Lebanon war in 2006, two days after Grossman had organized, along with other Israeli figures, a press conference calling on the authorities to accept a ceasefire and allow a negotiated solution.
Grossman's writings seek to provide the keys to calming relations between Israelis and Palestinians.
