Writer, adventurer and politician.
Biography:
In 1925, together with Paul Monin, he founded the newspaper L'Indochine, in which he criticized the colonialist system. An anti-fascist activist, he fought Franco's troops alongside the Spanish Republicans in 1936-1937. A Resistance fighter from March 1944, he took part in the fighting during the Liberation of France.
