A curious teenager knocks on the door and says:
Ben, what are you selling?
The angel says: I’m not selling anything, I’m giving.
Ah, so what are you giving?
I’ll give you anything you ask for. You ask me for something, I give it to you!
Really?
Think about it, you’re going to have this opportunity once in your life, so don’t bother me about a booster or a CD player, just think about what might be the most important thing for you. So my advice to you is to go home, think about it overnight and come back in the morning.
So the teenager goes home and thinks:
It’s true, I’d love a booster, but it might not be what’s going to make me happy, but we’ve still got the chance!
The teenager thinks hard. He came back the next morning and said to the angel:
That’s it, I’ve got it! You give me a big bucket of peace, a big jug of justice and a big plate of love. Because if there were peace, justice and love in my family, in my school, in my neighbourhood, it would be marvellous!
Then the angel looks at him:
Wait, wait, we’ve misunderstood each other, we’ve misunderstood each other!
You told me yesterday that anything I want, I ask you for, you give it to me!
Well yes, but wait, haven’t you seen? We only sell seeds here. So I’ll give you a seed of love, a seed of peace and a seed of justice. And of course, it’s up to you to plant them and make them grow. I, the angel, only give seeds.
