Biography:
Anwarul Chowdhury was one of the main protagonists in persuading the UN to pass the resolutions that defined the culture of peace and established the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World (2001-2010) (A/RES/53/25 and A/RES/53/243).

- Least developed countries coordinator.
