A woman committed to peace and peace education, to the successful integration of migrants into everyday life.
Biography:
Gerda Ferrari is known in Geneva for having founded several peace associations, notably the Association Araignées Artisanes de Paix, which she chaired from 2000 to 2009 and whose aim is peace education and integration between Swiss and foreigners. She is also an active member of Femmes pour la Paix, and previously of F-Informations (1980-1995) and Réseau F, two associations for the integration of migrant women. She was also a deacon and a member of the Swiss Federation of Protestant Women.
