International network of organizations and individuals for peace education, human rights education, war abolition and the human right to peace. The Global Campaign for Peace Education was launched at the Hague Appeal for Peace conference in May 1999.

Cette campagne de la société civile pour la paix et la justice a eu lieu à l’occasion du centenaire de la Première Conférence internationale de la paix à La Haye aux Pays-Bas et a réuni près de 10’000 personnes de plus de 100 pays en réponse à un appel du Bureau International de la Paix (International Peace Bureau), du International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), du International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms (IALANA), et du World Federalist Movement (WFM).
