Human values are those that enable us to connect with the humanity of others, and help us to put our moral values into practice if they falter during a conflict. They are one of the levers for consolidating peace. Our programs get teachers and students thinking about what they are, and encourage them to put them into practice in an experiential way.
The unacceptability of violence
If we sincerely want peace in our interpersonal, social and collective relationships, we have to start by setting ourselves the goal of making violence, in its various forms, unacceptable.
Imagine you’re in the midst of tension or violence… Or that someone is jostling you, insulting you, humiliating you… Rather than saying or doing things that will add fuel to the fire, have the right reflex – the peace reflex!
