Proactive peace<\/b> means making the choice to appease the other’s anger, aggression and desire for violence; it means first making gestures of appeasement towards the person or people with whom you’re in conflict.<\/p>\n

Several methods can contribute to this proactive peace dynamic, for example:<\/p>\n

   * consensus-building, mutual acceptance of compromise
* the power of creative proposals to overcome opposing positions
* non-violent communication techniques
* mediation<\/a> and negotiation techniques
* peace reflex<\/a> tools.<\/p>\n

We can thus distinguish between peace within ourselves (inner peace), active peace, interactive peace and proactive peace, as shown in the following table<\/a> of possible attitudes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
