  1. personal skills (self-knowledge, values and abilities, etc.)<\/li>\n
  2. emotional skills<\/a> (emotional intelligence)<\/li>\n
  3. psychosocial<\/a> skills <\/a> (interacting harmoniously)<\/li>\n
  4. intercultural skills<\/a> (interacting harmoniously in diversity)<\/li>\n
  5. eco-citizen skills<\/a> (interacting harmoniously as a citizen in favor of the common good and nature)<\/li>\n
  6. reflexive skills (questioning, reflecting, discerning<\/a>, anticipating)<\/li>\n
  7. creative skills
    (expressing oneself creatively, creatively solving all types of
    problems – practical, conflictual or related to world issues).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    They can and should be taught across<\/em> disciplines, not as separate subjects. They develop throughout life. <\/p>\n

    Graines de Paix develops each of these life skills through its teaching resources<\/a>, training courses and services. One comprehensive example is the Growing Up in Peace Collection<\/a>, which makes these life skills explicit in every school activity, indicating the issues they address. <\/p>\n

    Cross-disciplinary skills in the Plan d’Etudes Romand<\/h2>\n

    In the school system of French-speaking Switzerland, the term <\/b>capacit\u00e9s transversales<\/b><\/b> is defined by the Plan d’Etudes Romand (PER) (2011) as follows:
     <\/p>\n

    \n

    (Capacities that<\/i>) enable students to improve their self-knowledge (and that) help optimize and regulate their learning.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \n

    They represent an important part of the background that every student needs to succeed in learning and to integrate into society and the workplace.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \n

    (They have an effect) on the organization of classroom work, the carrying out of activities or the management of teaching.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    The PER specifies <\/b>cross-cutting skills<\/a> <\/b>abilities:<\/b><\/p>\n
